Single young men, widowed men, divorced men, men in wheelchairs, men who are terminally sick, blind, criminals, cops, politicians – every type of man and I connect with them all) all of me is geared towards these specific encounters. You know too often it goes unnoticed/unappreciated the magnitude in the weight of responsibilities men are EXPECTED to carry. Being a Provider: Much more than just supporting a family financially. But in addition also expected to contribute to the emotional, spiritual, physical and mental well-being of his family. Being the Protector: This means more than beating up the guy next door if he insults your wife. It means protecting her self-esteem and self-worth as well as your children’s. It can also mean protecting your way of life and guarding against any threats to the things that you and your family value. Being a Leader: Can't afford to wait on others to take the initiative when you are having problems, you are expected to take the lead. Get in the game and create what you want in your family instead of whining about your family situation it's on you to start the fixing and it's all eyes on you if it didn't work. Being a Teacher: What are you teaching those around you All eyes are on you as always especially your children. What are you teaching through your behavior It’s important to provide a good example. These are just some of the responsibilities I can think of and you're trying juggle doing all of this shit in silent competition with other men juggling the same amount of pressures to be a solid man amongst men it's fuckin madness...
